Cofer of 2008 Great Bridge boulevard Sunday in Oakwood Chapel Disciple Church. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery with Graves Funeral Home in charge. A native of Norfolk County, he was a son of the late Wallace Cofer and the husband of Mrs. Fannie Cofer. He died March 10. He was a member of Oakwood Chapel Disciples Church and a veteran of World War II. He owned and operated Cofer’s Confectionery. Surviving, besides his widow, are a brother, Norman Cofer, and two sisters, Mrs. Flossie Joyner and Mrs. Josephine King, all of Norfolk.
