Edward Coggin and daughter of Hugh Karr and Mrs. Ida Wilson Bell, died in a hospital Sunday at 12:50 a.m. A lifelong resident of Norfolk, she was a member of Knox Presbyterian Church. She is survived by a son, S. Edward Coggin Jr.; a brother, W. Lankford Bell; and a sister, Mrs. Ida Bell Derring, all of Norfolk; and two grandchildren. The body will be taken from Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home to Elmwood Cemetery for a funeral service Tuesday at 11 a.m. conducted by the Rev. Robert H. Ramey Jr. of Knox Presbyterian Church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Squires Memorial Fund of Knox Presbyterian Church. The family will be at 206 Brackenridge Road.
