CHESAPEAKE ~ Santo Cogliandro, 85, of 1005 Kempsville Road, died Wednesday in a 
Norfolk hospital.

A native of Italy, he was a son of John and Mrs. Grace Grisalli Cogliandro. He 
lived in this area 60 years. He was a member of St. Matthew’s Catholic Church.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. L. Bottino of Norfolk and Mrs. E. L. Boswell of 
Chesapeake; three sons, John Cogliandro and Frank Cogliandro of Chesapeake and 
Charles Cogliandro of Staten Island, N.Y.; 17 grandchildren; and four great-
grandchildren.

The Rosary will be recited in H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments tonight at 7:30. A 
funeral service will be held in St. Matthew’s Catholic Church Saturday at 9:30 
a.m. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.

The family has suggested that sympathy be contributions to charity or the building 
fund of St. Matthew’s.
