Virginian Pilot June 4, 1957

Mrs. Pacifica Bellantonio Cogliandro, 79, wife of Santo Cogliandro and daughter 
of Frank and Mrs. Mary Marra Bellantonio, a native of Italy and a resident of 
this section for 52 years, died yesterday at 6 a.m. at the residence near Butts 
Station, in Norfolk County.
Besides her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Louis Bottino and 
Mrs. E.L. Boswell, of Norfolk; three sons, John J. Cogliandro and Frank 
Cogliandro, of Norfolk and Charles Cogliandro, of New York; 15 grandchildren; a 
sister, Mrs. A. Riportella, of Norfolk; three brothers, Jacob Bellantonio, Moses 
Bellantonio and Phillip Bellantonio, of New York and a number of nieces and 
nephews.
The body will be taken from the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments to St. Mary's 
Catholic Church for services tomorrow at 11 a.m. Burial will be in St. Mary's 
Cemetery. Rosary services will be conducted at the funeral apartments today at 
8:30 p.m. The family will be at 411 Ridgeley Rd.

NORFOLK — Funeral services for Mrs. Pacifica Bellantonio Cogliandro, wife of 
Santo Cogliandro, who died Monday, were conducted at St. Mary’s Catholic Church 
yesterday at 11 a.m. by the Rev. Thomas C. Healey. The Rev. Peter Schouten and 
the Rev. Wm. P. Connelly were present in the sanctuary. Burial was in St. Mary’s 
Cemetery. Pallbearers were Judge Savory Amato, Dr. Sam DeLaura, Dr. Steven Pino, 
Daniel Margiotta, A. L. Unser, Joseph Vita and Jimmy Caserta.
