Virginian-Pilot, December 20, 1965
NORFOLK - Morris Cohen, 72, of 436 Thole St., the husband of the late Mrs. 
Gussie Gurman Cohen and a son of David and Mrs. Sarah Cohen, died in a hospital 
Sunday at 11 a.m.
A native of Poland, he lived here 55 years. He was a member of B'Nai Israel 
Congregation, Workman's Circle, the Golden Age Club, and the Literary and 
Social Club.
He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Minnie Kurzer and Mrs. Nettie C. Levy 
of Norfolk and Mrs. Bessie Ginsburg of Portsmouth, and six sisters, Mrs. Bessie 
Ruben, Mrs. Sophie Kanter, Mrs. Rose Motzno nd Mrs. Annie Hiken of Milwaukee 
and Mrs. Lee Gersten of Monticello, NY.
A funeral service will be conducted in H. D. Oliver Funeral Apts today at 3:30 
p.m. by Rabbi Israel Bornstein of B'Nai Israel Congregation. Burial will be in 
B'Nai Israel Cemetery.
The family will be a 1444 Graydon Ave.
