Virginian Pilot, 9-10-1971
COHEN, Bertha Yavner - A native of Baltimore, died Sep. 9, 1971. She lived 
here most of her life. She was a member of B'nai Israel Congregation, 
Hadassah, and Berkley Eastern Star.

Surviving, besides her husband, are two brothers, Meyer Yavner and Moses 
Yavner, and two sisters, Mrs. Bessie Y. Goodman and Mrs. Fannye Y. Andelman, 
all of Norfolk.

A funeral service was held Sunday September 12th in H. D. Oliver Funeral 
Apartments at noon by Rabbi Israel Bornstein.
