Norfolk - Services were conducted for James E. Colbert, 68, of 814 Wilson 
road, who died recently in Veteran’s Administration Hospital.

He was a native of Prince George county, and was the son of James Colbert and 
Mrs. Sarah Colbert and the husband of Mrs. Ernestine Colbert.  He was an 
employee of Tidewater Rail Service for eight years and was a former member of 
Lebanon Baptist Church, Disputanta, VA.

The Rev. William O. Deloatch officiated in Mt. Zion Baptist Church and 
interment was held in Calvary Cemetery, with Jones Funeral Home in charge.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Eula B. Story 
and and Mrs. Myrtle L. Taylor of Norfolk;  four sisters, Mrs. Millie Jacobs 
and Mrs. Easter Frazier of Baltimore, Sadie Jones and Rosanna Jones of 
Hopewell;  two brothers, Bernard Colbert of Norfolk and Joseph Colbert of 
Baltimore MD;  nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
