Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Wednesday, June 20, 1990 
Lois E. Nelson Cole, 68, of the 6300 block of Blakely Square, a retired account
adjuster, died June 17, 1990, in Portsmouth.

Mrs. Cole, a native of Newport News, had retired from R.H. Macy Co., Long
Island, N.Y. She was a member of St. Matthew's Catholic Church and the Virginia
Beach Marine Corps Ladies Auxiliary.

Survivors include her husband, John ``Pete'' Cole; a son, John A. Cole of New
Bedford, Mass.; a sister, Ruth Balasco of Philadelphia; and a grandchild.

A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday in St. Matthew's
Catholic Church. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . Friends may join the
family from 7 to 9 pm. Thursday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Indian River
Chapel.
