Norfolk Journal and Guide, January 9,1985
Gladys F. Cole of 2412 E. Virginia Beach Blvd, Apartment 6K, died Monday,
December 31 in a hospital.

A native of Painter, she was the wife of the late Charlie Cole.  Mrs. Cole had
retired from a job at the American Tobacco Co.  

She was a member of Antioch Baptist Church and the J. W. Matthews Usher Board.

Survivors include a sister, Laura McCallum of Norfolk.

A funeral service was conductetd on January 6 in Antioch Baptist Church by Dr.
I. Joseph Williams.  Burial was in Calvary Cemetery.
