Norfolk - Funeral services for Mrs. Laura Coleman of 813 Gammon street were 
held Friday in New Calvary Baptist Church. Interment was in Calvary Cemetery 
with funeral arrangements handled by Jones Funeral Home.

A native of Norfolk, she was the widow of Levi Coleman and a daughter of the 
late Leon White and Mrs. Annie White. She was a member of New Calvary 
Baptist Church. Mrs. Coleman died March 10 in her home.

Surviving are two sons, Herbert Coleman of Norfolk and Robert Coleman of 
Baltimore; six daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Williams, Mrs. Leatrice Gregory, and 
Mrs. Vivian Hargrove, all of Norfolk; and Mrs. Othella Jenkins, Mrs. Gloria 
Clemmons and Mrs. Mable Berry of Rochester NY; a sister, Mrs Elnora Collins 
of Norfolk; 19 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
