Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Tuesday, September 8, 1992 
Josephine Coleman of the 900 block of E. Princess Anne Road, a retired
housekeeping employee, died Sept. 4, 1992, in a hospital.

Mrs. Coleman was born in Norfolk. She had retired from Eaton Optical Co. after
50 years. She was a member of St. John's A.M.E. Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Eliza H. Jones of Norfolk.

The funeral will be conducted at noon Thursday in St. John's A.M.E. Church by
the Rev. I.W. Knight. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . The body will be
placed in church at 10 a.m. The family will assemble at the 1400 block of W.
37th St. Hale Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
