Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Wednesday, July 8, 1992 
Jerry Roy Coleman of the 200 block of W. 34th St., died July 4, 1992, in a
hospital.

Mr. Coleman was born in Norfolk County. He had retired from C.S. Hines Septic
Tank Co. after 25 years. He was the widower of Doris W. Coleman.

Survivors include two stepdaughters, Mary Spellman of Norfolk and Jose Parker of
Chesapeake; six sisters, Vera L. Goodman, Mary E. Hawkins, Sarah M. Harris, Ann
N. Cutler and Maxine C. Goodman, all of Norfolk, and Barbara Parnther of
Virginia Beach; and two brothers, Agustus Coleman and Earl Coleman, both of
Norfolk.

The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday in Mount Gilead Baptist Church by
the Rev. Raymond Dean. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . Viewing will be from
2 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Riddick Funeral Service. Friends may join the family at
1088 Kennedy St., and will assemble at 233 W. 34th St. for the procession.
