The Virginian Pilot Saturday February 15, 1958
Benjamin Franklin Coleman, Sr., 72, husband of Mrs. Virginia Harrison Coleman 
and son of James F. and Mrs. Eliza Holland Coleman, died at the residence, 2806 
Kimball Ter., yesterday at 2:05 a.m.
Besides his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Margaret Coleman Bray 
and Mrs. John W. Brinson, all of Norfolk; three sons, James Francis Coleman and 
Benjamin F. Coleman, Jr., both of Norfolk and Horace Bland Coleman, of 
LaCrescenta, Calif.; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Mr. Coleman was a native of Middlesex County, and had been a resident of Norfolk 
most of his life.  He was a member of Epworth Methodist Church, Corinthian Lodge 
266, A.F. & A.M. and Edgewater Council, D. Of A.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home Sunday at 
2 p.m.  Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
