Virginian Pilot and The Norfolk Landmark May 21, 1926

Mrs. Lucy Armistead Reade Coleman, aged 72 years, wife of Junius A. Coleman, 
died yesterday morning at 6:30 o'clock at the residence in the Woodard 
Apartments.  Mrs. Coleman was a native of Charlotte County, Va. and had been 
a resident of this city 46 years.  Besides her husband, she is survived by 
three daughters, Mrs. W. Taylor Ham and Mrs. George H. Davis, of Norfolk and 
Mrs. Ross Willoh, of Philadelphia; one son, Junius A. Coleman, Jr., of 
Norfolk; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. 
Mary Goode, of Washington, D.C. and Mrs. William Norvell, of Chase City, Va; 
and one brother, Isaac Goode, of Charlotte County.
Funeral services will be conducted at the residence of her son-in-law, 
Taylor Ham, 426 Fairfax avenue, tomorrow at noon.  The Rev. D.W. Howard, 
D.D., rector of St. Luke's Church, will officiate.  Burial will be private 
in Elmwood Cemetery.
