Virginian Pilot and The Norfolk Landmark August 21, 1927

Junius Armistead Coleman, 82 years old, died yesterday morning at 6:55 
o'clock at the residence, 426 Fairfax Avenue.  Mr. Coleman was a native of 
Amelia County and a resident of Norfolk for the past 50 years.  He is 
survived by three daughters, Mrs. W. Taylor Ham and Mrs. George H. Davis, of 
Norfolk and Mrs. Ross G. Willoh, of Germantown, Pa.; one son, Junius A. 
Coleman, Jr., of Norfolk; one brother, Edward N. Coleman, of Dinwiddie 
County; two sisters, Mrs. Eugene Sutherland and Mrs. T.M. Boisseau, of 
Dinwiddie County; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at the residence tomorrow morning at 12 
o'clock by the Rev. E.P. Miner, of St. Mark's Episcopal Church.  Burial will 
be private in Elmwood Cemetery.
Mr. Coleman was at one time clerk of the court and for years deputy clerk of 
court in Norfolk.
