Ruth M. Coleman, 75, died May 1, 1990, in a hospital.

Mrs. Coleman, a native of Norfolk, was a member of the American Association of
Retired Persons. She was also a past counselor of Tahoe-Douglas Senior Citizens
Club and past state officer of Daughters of America.

Survivors include her husband, Horace Coleman of Lake Tahoe, Nev.; a daughter,
Judy C. Reed of Lake Tahoe; a son, Bland Coleman of Lake Tahoe; a sister, Louise
Wilkins of Virginia Beach; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

The graveside service will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Thursday in Elmwood
Cemetery , Norfolk, by the Rev. John Giminez. Friends may join the family from 7
to 9 p.m. Wednesday in Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel.
