Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Monday, December 10, 2001 
Robert Lee Coleman of the 2700 block of Victory Ave. died Dec. 6, 2001.

Born in Suffolk, Mr. Coleman was a graduate of Booker T. Washington High School
and was a widower. He was retired and a member of New Calvary Baptist Church
where he was the oldest deacon in service and many other services. His
memberships included: Alpha and Omega No. 9 and a 33rd degree Mason, past master
Excelsior Lodge No. 87, Holy Royal Arch St. Thomas Commandery No. 4PAA, and past
potentate Arabia Temple No. 12 Scottish Rite.

A funeral will be at noon Tuesday in New Calvary Baptist Church, 800 Virginia
Beach Blvd., by Dr. Gilbert Campbell Jr., where a wake will be held from 6 to 8
p.m. today. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . Chapman/E.A. Hughes Funeral
Home is in charge
