Virginian Pilot April 23, 1902

COLEMAN - At his residence, No. 59 High Street, yesterday morning at 7:30 
o'clock, CHARLES S. COLEMAN, in the 68th year of his age.
The funeral will take place THIS (Wednesday) AFTERNOON at 3 o'clock from the 
Centenary M.E. Church. Friends and acquaintances respectfully invited to attend.

                              Mr. C.S. COLEMAN

The obsequies of the late Mr. Charles S. Coleman, who passed away at his home, 
59 High Street, Tuesday morning, in the 67th year of his age, were held from the 
Centenary Methodist Church, of which the deceased was a member, at 3 o'clock 
yesterday afternoon and was largely attended.  Grice Commandery No. 16, Knights 
Templar; Atlantic Lodge No. 2, A.F. & A. Masons, and Lafayette Lodge No. 7, 
I.O.O.F., of which the deceased was a member, were present.  The services were 
conducted by the pastor, Rev. E.T. Dadmun.  The interment was in Elmwood 
Cemetery.
