Funeral rites for Mrs. Virginia Coles of 1204 Mapole avenue were held Thursday 
at Mt. Olive Baptist Church.  The Rev. H. T. Myers, pastor, officiated.

Burial was in Calvary Cemetery with Riddick Funeral Service in charge.

Mrs. Coles, a native of Asheville, NC, had lived in Norfolk for a number of 
years.  She was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, William Coles;  three sons, Rudolph, Donald and 
Wendell Coles;  daughter, Miss Marjorie Coles, all of Norfolk;  two sisters, 
Mrs. Marjorie  Mackey and Mrs. Mabel Carter, also of Norfolk and a brother, Roy 
Bailey.
