NORFOLK — Elvan Lewis Collamer Sr., 63, husband of Mrs. Ada Phelps Collamer, and 
son of the late Frank and Mrs. Susan Engle Collamor, died at a Norfolk hospital 
yesterday at 10:30 a. m.

He was a native of Amsterdam, N. Y., and a resident of Norfolk for the past 20 
years, residing at 1635 Morris Ave. at the time of his death. He was a member of 
Christ the King Catholic Church, Norfolk, and Knights of Columbus, of Portsmouth.

Besides his wife, Mrs. Ada Phelps Collamer, of Norfolk, he is survived by one son, 
Lewis Collamer Jr.; one daughter, Mrs. Frances Collamer Peed, both of Norfolk; six 
grandchildren, and one sister, Mrs. Irving T. Clark, of Costa Mesa, Calif.

The body will be taken from the H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments to Christ the King 
Catholic Church for services tomorrow at 10 a.m. Burial will be in St. Mary's 
Cemetery. Rosary services will be held at the funeral apartments today at 7:30 
p.m.
