Rita Dougherty Collamer, 75, formerly of the 9600 block of Chesapeake Blvd., died 
October 25, 1994, in a local hospital.

Mrs. Collamer was a native of Portsmouth and a lifelong resident of Norfolk, Va. 
She was preceded in death by her husband, the late Elvan Lewis Collamer Jr. She 
was a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church in Norfolk. Mrs. Collamer was a member 
of Ladies of Charity of DePaul Hospital.

Survivors include 3 daughters, Mary Anne C. Naujoks and her husband, Ronald of 
Norfolk, Rita C. Patterson of Norfolk, Susan C. Kipper of Virginia Beach, Va.; a 
son, Elvan Lewis Collamer III of Norfolk; a brother, Lawrence J. Dougherty and his 
wife, Mary Lou, of Va. Beach, and 13 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Friday, October 28, 
1994 at St. Pius X Catholic Church by Fr. William J. Dale.

Memorial donations may be made to the Ladies of Charity of Depaul Hospital. There 
will be a Christian wake service on Thursday evening at 7:30 P.M. at H.D. Oliver 
Funeral Apts., Norfolk Chapel.
