Virginian Pilot June 26, 1992

                     N.Y. MAN DROWNS IN POOL AT HOTEL

Samuel Collington, 26, of New York, was found dead in the swimming pool at Best 
Western Hotel on N. Military Highway Thursday night, police said.
Collington, a guest at the hotel, had been swimming with a friend in the shallow 
end of the pool about 8:30, then his friend returned to their room.
The friend later received a call from the front desk and was told that 
Collington had been found face-down in the pool, police said.
His death, discovered about 8:55 p.m., appears to have been the result of an 
accidental drowning, police said.
