Funeral services were held last Thursday for Mrs. Blanche H. Collins, 81 
Roseclair street who died at a local hospital recently following a brief 
illness.

She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Holley of Hertford, 
NC.

Mrs. Collins is survived by two children, Laverne and Georgia Collins;  
three brothers, Charlie Holley, George Holley of Brooklyn, NY;  and Elihee 
Holley of Hertford, NC;  a sister-in-law, Mrs. Ethel Mae Holley of New York;  
and other relatives.

The funeral rites were conducted from the chapel of Pretlow’s Funeral Home, 
with the Rev. W. B. Westbrook officiating.

Burial was at Mt. Olive Cemetery.
