Collins, died yesterday at 7:15 a.m. at her home, 1027 W. Princess Anne Rd., after a long illness. Daughter of William and Mrs. Florence Serpell Wilson; she was a resident of Norfolk for 45 years. Mrs. Collins, who was a charter member of the Garden Club of Norfolk, some years ago had been an interested participant in many of the city’s civic and social affairs. She had been active in King’s Daughters work and had been a member of the Assn, for the Preservation of Virginia Antiquities. She was a member of Christ and St. Luke’s Episcopal Church. Surviving are one son, Cadwallader J. Collins, of Norfolk, and a sister, Mrs. Charles Gulick, of East Orange, N.J. The body will be taken from the H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments to Christ and St. Luke’s Church for funeral services at noon tomorrow by the Rev. Peyton R. Williams, rector. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
