The Norfolk Virginian Pilot September 17, 1937
Mrs. Cornelia Frances Collins, aged 60, widow of Jefferson K. Collins an 
daughter of the late William and Martha Jane Edwards, died at a local hospital 
last night at 7:45 o'clock after a long illness. She was a native of Cana, Va., 
and had been a resident of Norfolk for 30 years, residing at 248 West Twenty-
sixth street. Mrs. Collins is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Edgar D. Foreman, of 
Norfolk; a sister, Miss Elizabeth Edwards, of Cana; a brother, William Edwards, 
of Richmond, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Ewell & Williamson Funeral Home, 
Thirty-fifth street at Colonial avenue, Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock. Interment 
will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
