Funeral services for Arthur Collins, who passed recently in a Norfolk hospital,
were held at Riddick’s Funeral Home with the Rev. Richard A. Council officiating.

He was a native of Butte, MT., and the son of the late Joseph and Mrs. Martha
Collins of 1312 Chapel street.

Mr. Collins was sick for about two years.  He was employed at the Naval Base for
a number of years.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Bertha Collins;  one daughter, Miss Bertha
Collins;  Three sisters, Mrs. Virginia Cole, Mrs. Mattie Africa and Mrs. Emily
Porgy;  three brothers, James Collins, Sam Collins, Carol Collins;  one aunt,
Mrs. Lillie Wilkinson and other relatives.

Riddick Funeral Home was in charge of the burial.  Interment was in Calvary
Cemetery.
