Mrs. Mary Talley Williams Collins, aged 72, widow of George W. Collins, died at
a Harrisburg , PA, hospital yesterday afternoon at 12:30 o’clock after a short
illness. She is survived by two sons, Avery H. Williams, of Harrisburg, and J.
Talley Williams, of Norfolk; a daughter, Miss Mary B. Williams, of Portsmouth; a
brother, Edwin Harvey Talley, of Richmond; two grandchildren and several nieces
and nephews. Mrs. Collins was a native of Hanover County, and had been a
resident of Norfolk for many years. She was a member of the First Christian
Church, Disciples. The body will be brought to Norfolk for funeral services and
burial at a time to be announced later.
