Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Monday, July 5, 1999 
Elizabeth Collins, 73, of the 1100 block of Ballentine Blvd., slipped quietly
and gently into eternal rest on Thursday, July 1, 1999, at Sentara Nursing Center.

She was a native of Norfolk and the daughter of Mary Lyons Bond and the late
Charlie Bond. She was the widow of Lawrence Collins Sr.

She was a very sweet, lovable and cheerful person who will be sorely missed by
her mother, Mary L. Bond; two daughters, Sandra Judd and her husband, Caesar,
and Beverly Lee and her husband, Anderson; four sons, Lawrence Collins Jr.,
Ronald Collins, Maurice Collins and Marcel Collins and his wife, Stephanie; 11
grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.

A funeral will be conducted at noon Wednesday at Riddick Funeral Service. Burial
will be in Calvary Cemetery . Viewing will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the
funeral home. The family will be at the residence.
