COLONNA, SHIPYARD OFFICIAL, SUCCUMBS AT 46 Bruce Cornick Colonna, 46, an official of the Colonna Shipyard, died of a heart attack early yesterday. He was found dead in his car beside his residence, 2813 Marlboro Avenue, shortly after 6 a.m. Mr. Colonna, who had been in good health, left his home, apparently on the way to the shipyard, where he had charge of the motor equipment for the marine railways. Son of Mrs. Fannie Colonna and the late Charles J. Colonna, he was born in the Colonna home adjacent to the shipyard. The house has since been torn down. After attending Norfolk Academy he began work in the shipyard. He was a member of Old St. Paul's Episcopal Church. Besides his mother, he is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lucy Miller Colonna; three sons, Bruce C. Colonna Jr., of North Carolina; Jack and Henry Colonna; two daughters, Fannie Jo and Mary Sue Colonna; four brothers, Benjamin O. Colonna, Sr., E.H. Colonna, Sr. and one sister, Mrs. Evelyn Colonna Smith and a number of nieces and nephews. The body will be taken from the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments to Old St. Paul's Episcopal Church for funeral services tomorrow at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
