Andrew M. Combo , 79, of the 1400 block of Ekstine Drive, died Nov. 20, 2003, in
his residence.

A native of Cofield, N.C., he had been employed for more than 35 years at
Norfolk Naval Shipyard as a pipefitter and fellowshipped at New First Baptist
Church Taylorsville. He was a member of Truxton Chapter No. 199, Lodge of Masons.

Survivors include his wife, Gladys E. Combo ; two daughters, Fern Moore (Steve)
and Cheryl Combo ; two sons, Andre Combo and Troy Combo ; a grandchild, Michael
Knight; a great-grandchild, Destiny Combo ; and other relatives and friends.

A funeral will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at New First Baptist Church
Taylorsville, Portsmouth, by the Rev. Marcus Brown. Burial will be in Calvary
Cemetery, Norfolk. The family will receive friends at the residence. Viewing
will begin today at 11 a.m. and the family will be at the funeral home from 7 to
8 p.m. today.
