COMMANDER, MARVIN CHAPMAN – At the residence of his sister, Mrs. H. W. Simpkins, 
Princess Anne County, Friday afternoon, October 27, 1944, at 12:30 o’clock, MARVIN 
CHAPMAN COMMANDER, son of the late Dr. Joseph and Annie Ophelia Chapman Commander. 
Funeral services will be conducted at the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home THIS 
(Sunday) AFTERNOON, October 29, 1944, at 2 o’clock. Friends of the family invited 
to attend. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
