The Rev. J. W. Arthur, pastor of the Campostella Heights Methodist Church, officiated, assisted by the Rev. W. I. Burke and the Rev. N. F. Hunt. Mr. Burke and J. T. Phelps sang “Softly and Tenderly” and “Rock of Ages.” The attendance was large and there was a profusion of flowers, the casket being covered with gladioli, dahlias and fern. Honorary pallbearers were Joe Cameron, Hugh Oliver, I. L. Price, J. B. Gould, Robert Fletcher and K. P. Butt. Active pallbearers were J. B. Batts, Starr W. Cromwell, Ferell Moore, Harry Williamson, Arthur Williamson, D. E. Keister and W. P. Butt. Burial was in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
