NORFOLK -- Vincent "Buddy" Warren Commodore, 58, a native of Norfolk, died Tuesday 
in his home at 208 W. Little Creek Road.

Mr. Commodore had retired from Peoples Drug Co. as an assistant manager. He was a 
member of Christ the King Catholic Church.

Survivors include a niece, Marianne P. Vest, of Virginia Beach, and two nephews, 
Jack M. Commodore, of Norfolk, and Robert L. Commodore, of Yukon, Okla.

The graveside service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday in St. Mary’s Catholic 
Cemetery by the Rev. J. Michael Breslin.

A prayer service will be held at 7 p.m. today in Smith & Williams Funeral Home, 
Norfolk Chapel, where the family will receive friends from 8 to 9 p.m. Memorial 
donations may be sent to the Heart Fund.
