Virginian Pilot November 6, 1957

Edward W. Condon, 50, son of Mrs. Rose Rawlins Condon and the late Edward 
Condon, died Monday at 11:55 p.m. at a Norfolk hospital.
Mr. Condon was a native of New York City and had been a resident of Norfolk for 
15 years, residing at 9337 Ewing Street at the time of his death.
Besides his mother he is survived by two sons, Edward W. Condon and Alfred 
Condon of Sarasota, Fla.; a daughter, Mrs. Richard Darnell of Mt. Rainier, Md.; 
five grandchildren; a brother, Joseph E. Condon of Norfolk and a sister, Mrs. 
Ford N. Hough of National Park, N.J.
The body will be taken from the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, to Holy Trinity 
Catholic Church, Ocean View, for services tomorrow at 10 a.m. Burial will be in 
St. Mary's Cemetery. Rosary services will be conducted at the funeral apartments 
tonight at 7:30 o'clock.

NORFOLK — Funeral services for Edward W. Condon, who died Monday, were conducted 
at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Ocean View, yesterday at 10 a.m., by the Rev. 
Paul Gaughan, assistant pastor. Burial was in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Pallbearers 
were Lewis C Vohringer, William Vohringer, Lewis H. Mullenix, John R. Latham, 
Leo Fox, Truman Burgess and James Stoffer.
