Virginian-Pilot, August 09, 1899

The funeral of Captain Moses M. Conklin, who passed away at his home on Thirty-
Seventh Street Monday morning, was held from St. Mark’s Episcopal Church at 3 
o’clock yesterday afternoon, and was largely attended, many friends from 
Norfolk being in the audience. The services were conducted by the rector, Rev. 
F. Bouldin. The interment was in Elmwood Cemetery.
