Virginian-Pilot  January 31 & February 1, 1940
MRS. ELLEN R. CONLIN, widow of Andrew Conlin, died yesterday morning at 8:02 
o'clock at a local hospital.  She was a native of Ireland and had been a resident 
of Norfolk two and one-half years, residing at 4701 Killam Avenue at the time of 
her death.  Surviving her are  two daughters, Mrs. Annie E. Whillock and Mrs. 
Jesse Thompson, of Norfolk, and one son, Joseph Conlin, of Philadelphia.  She was 
a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.

The body was removed to the H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, 1501 Colonial Avenue, 
pending funeral arrangements.

MRS. ELLEN R. CONLIN - Remains of Mrs. Conlin, widow of Andrew Conlin, whose death 
occurred Tuesday morning at a local hospital, will be taken from the H. D. Oliver 
Funeral Apartments, 1501 Colonial Avenue, to Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church for 
services tomorrow morning at 10 o'clock.  Interment will be in St. Mary's 
Cemetery.
