Lt. Connelly, 64, Merchant Fleet

NORFOLK - Retired Merchant Marine, Lt. Lorenz Connelly, 64, of 618 Pembroke 
Ave. died Tuesday at 10 a.m. in a hospital.
A native of Baltimore, he lived here 17 years.  Before retirement he was a 
radio officer.
He was a son of John and Mrs. Kate Connelly.  He was a member of Paul Dean 
Masonic Lodge of Boston and Christ and St. Luke's Episcopal Church.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Mary Jones Connelly of Norfolk; a daughter, 
Miss Margaret Connelly of South Eastern, Mass.; two sons, Lorenz Connelly 
Jr. and Arthur Connelly of Norfolk; and a sister, Miss Elizabeth A. Connelly 
of Baltimore.
The body will be taken from H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments to Selden Chapel 
of Christ and St. Luke's Church for a funeral service Thursday at noon by 
Dr. Peyton Williams.  Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
