NORFOLK — Mrs. Mary Jones Connelly, 63, of 800 W. Princess Anne Road, 81, died 
Saturday in a hospital. A native of Norfolk, she was the widow of Lorenz 
Connelly Sr.
She was a member of Christ and St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, a volunteer in the 
Children’s Hospital of the King’s Daughters gift shop and the church bookstore 
and a member of the refreshment committee of A.R.P.
Survivors include two sons, Lorenz Connelly Jr. and Arthur Barham Jones of 
Norfolk.
A funeral will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. in Christ and St. Luke’s Church by the 
Rev. James B. Samuel Jr. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery with H.D. Oliver 
Funeral Apartments, Norfolk, in charge. The family will be at her home tonight 
from 6 to 9. Memorial donations may be made to the bookstore of Christ and St. 
Luke’s Episcopal Church.
