DIED

CONNELLY - At the residence, No. 163 Bermuda Street, Friday, January 12, 1906, at 
5:50 o'clock a.m., John Connelly.

Funeral services from St. Mary's Catholic Church Sunday morning at 9:30 o'clock.  
Friends of the family are invited to attend.

DEATHS

John Connelly, an old and well-known resident of Norfolk, died at his home, No. 
163 Bermuda Street, at 5:50 a.m. yesterday, in the 77th year of his age.  The 
deceased had been in failing health some time, but his death was unexpected, as he 
had been seen on the streets within the past week.  Mr. Connelly was born in 
Ireland, but had been a resident of Norfolk for over half a century and was, until 
recent years, in the transfer business in this city, and few men were more 
intimately known in the community.

He is survived by a widow and three children - William Connelly and Misses Bessie 
and Margaret Connelly - all of Norfolk.  He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic 
Church, from which his funeral will be solemnized at 9:30 o'clock Sunday morning.
