The funeral of Mrs. Alice McDonald Connelly, relict of the late John Connelly, was 
held from St. Mary’s Catholic church at 9 o’clock a.m. yesterday and was 
numerously attended. Requiem mass was celebrated by Rev. Father John Doherty, 
pastor of the church. The floral tributes were numerous and beautiful, including a 
pall for the casket formed of white roses. The remains were laid to rest in 
Elmwood cemetery and the pallbearers were as follows: Thomas S. Fitzgibbon, T. M. 
Cashin, H. A. Davis, George F. Wilkinson, Victor Parks, Patrick Tynan, John Cashin 
and E. C. Wilzel.
