D. Oliver’s Funeral Apartments, 610-12 East Freemason street, with the Rev. Leo J. Ryan, pastor of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, officiating. There was a large attendance and many floral offerings. Members of the Fleet Reserve Association, Branch No. 5, conducted ritual services Wednesday night at 9 o’clock, and a delegation from the Fleet Reserve Association, and Spanish-American War Veterans, were present at the funeral. Interment was in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Mr. Connor was interred with military honors, a volley being fired by a firing squad, and a bugler sounded taps at the grave. Honorary pallbearers were Owen Cosgrove, William Nellies, Frank Glason, Frank McLaughlin, Peter Lowe, F. Schultz, C. Cooper and L. Padula. Active pallebearers, Chief Petty Officers, U. S. N., were E. G. Anderson, William W. Thompson, George A. Grogan, Lewis Prescott, J. H. Williamson and J. B. Kichens.
