Virginian-Pilot  April 13, 1911
The funeral of Rev. Father Edward Connolly, of Boston, was held from the Chapel of 
St. Vincent's Hospital, at 8 o'clock a.m. yesterday. Solemn requiem high mass was 
celebrated, the following priests officiating.
Celebrant—Rev. Father F. J. Lucke, chaplain of St. Vincent's Hospital.
Deacon—Rev. T. Kelly, of Kentucky.
Sub-Deacon—Rev. J. Waring, of St. Joseph's Church, Norfolk.
Master of Ceremonies—Rev. R. A. Drake, of Sacred Heart Church, Norfolk.
Musical Director—Rev. H. B. Meninger, of Norfolk.
Rev. Father Edward J. Walsh, of St. Mary's Church, Norfolk, and Rev. F. L. 
Fitzpatrick, attended the obsequies. The interment was in St. Mary's Cemetery.
Following were the pall-bearers: M. J. Murphy, Vincent Phillips, John H. Baecher, 
John F. Lawler, John Milon, Thomas Hogan, Vincent Smith and M. T. Friary.
