Norfolk Virginian Pilot October 23, 1939

Joseph Console, aged 54, husband of Mrs. Bridget Rossano Console, died at his 
residence, corner Newport Avenue and Mayflower Drive, Colonial Place, yesterday 
morning at 10:45 o'clock. Mr. Console was a native of Italy and a resident of 
Norfolk for 34 years. He was treasurer of Bisese & Console, Inc., wholesale 
produce and groceries. Besides his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Mrs. 
Alexander L. Martone and Mrs. W. Grant Revell and one granddaughter, Mary Ann 
Revell.
Funeral services will be held at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, of which Mr. 
Console was a member, tomorrow morning at 10 o'clock. Interment will be in St. 
Mary's Cemetery.
Rosary services will be held at the residence tonight at 8 o'clock.

Sunday, October 22, 1939, at 10:45 o’clock a.m., JOSEPH, husband of Mrs. Bridget 
Rossano Console, in the 55th year of his age. Funeral services at Blessed 
Sacrament Catholic Church, TUESDAY MORNING at 10 o’clock. Friends of the family 
are invited to attend. Interment, St. Mary’s Cemetery.
