Norfolk Ledger-Dispatch November 16, 1960
Samuel Perkins Constable, 62 retired official of the Standard Oil Co., died in 
Ormond Beach, Fla. Tuesday, according to word received here.
He was the son of the late Charles Grice Constable and Mrs. Martha Drummond 
Constable.
Constable was a native of Norfolk and resided in Manhasset, Long Island, for 25 
years. He had made his home in Ormond Beach for the last two years. He was a 
member of the Episcopal Church and Ruth Lodge No, 89, A.F. and A.M.
In addition to his wife, Mrs. Hazel Nieble Constable, he is survived by three 
sons, Samuel P. Constable Jr. and Robert Constable, both of Florida, and 
Christopher Constable of Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, Md.; three 
sisters, Dr. Kate Constable of New York; Mrs. Tom D. Heyl of San Francisco, 
Calif, and Mrs. Lucy C. Driesell of Norfolk; a brother, Thomas F. Constable of 
Arlington, and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be conducted at the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home Saturday 
at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
