A native of Burlington, N. J., he lived in the Norfolk area most of his life. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and a retired electrician of Norfolk Naval Shipyard. He was a charter member of the Tidewater Anglers Club of Norfolk and served on its board of directors for many years. Survivors include three sisters, Mrs. Herman Yaffey and Mrs. Phillip M. Gisaffi of Norfolk, and Mrs. Antoinette Gentile of Brooklyn. The body was taken to H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, Norfolk. A Christian Wake service will be held tonight at 8 in the funeral apartments. A Requiem Mass will be celebrated Friday at 10 a.m. in Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
