Modestina Conte — Funeral services for Mr. Conte, whose death occurred Saturday 
afternoon at the residence, 2745 East Princess Anne road, were held yesterday 
afternoon at 3 o’clock at H. D. Oliver's Funeral apartments, 610-12 East Freemason 
street, with the Rev. Thomas J. Walsh, of St Mary's Catholic Church, officiating. 
There was a large attendance and many floral offerings. The casket was covered 
with a nail of red roses and ferns. Delegations were in attendance from the 
various organizations of which he was a member. Interment was in St. Mary’s 
Cemetery. The pallbearers were Hugo Bernagozzi, Nicholas DiNofa, Antonio Panella, 
John Vita, Joe Ficarra, M. Artese, J. Panella and Nick Granata.
