                          J.P. Contrado, Of Navy Supply

Joseph Paul Contrado, 58, of 200 W. 19th St., supervisor of the stock control 
division at Norfolk Naval Supply Center, died Sunday in a hospital.
He worked at the supply center 42 years and until his illness had never taken a 
single hour of sick leave.
He was a son of Angela Matalune Contrado and the late Pasquale Contrado.
A lifelong resident of Norfolk, he was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Besides his mother, he is survived by four brothers, Daniel Contrado, John 
Contrado, Michael Contrado and Vincent Contrado and four sisters, Mrs. Merrill 
Beck Sr., Mrs. Joseph Beck, Mrs. George E. Robertson Sr. and Mrs. Richard 
Baxter, all of Norfolk.
A funeral service will be conducted in Sacred Heart Catholic Church Wednesday at 
10 a.m. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
The Rosary will be said in the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments Tuesday at 7:30 
p.m.
