Norfolk Virginian August 2, 1881

CONWAY - On Monday, August 1st, 1881 at 3 1/2 o'clock, Mrs. ANN CONWAY, wife of 
John Conway at her residence, Glasgow Street.
Her funeral will take place from St. Paul's Catholic WEDNESDAY MORNING, August 
the 3d, at 10 o'clock.

                         Funeral of Mrs. Ann Conway

The funeral services of the late Mrs. Ann Conway, wife of Mr. John Conway, who 
died at the residence of her husband last Monday afternoon, took place from St. 
Paul's Catholic Church yesterday morning at 10:30 o'clock in the presence of a 
large concourse of the friends of the deceased. Rev. Father T.J. Brady, the 
pastor, conducted the service and preached a very impressive sermon and the 
following gentlemen acted as pallbearers: Messrs. C. Irwin, J.R. Coleman, Thomas 
Donovan, William F. Carty, P. O'Connor, James O'Rourke, John Mahoney and James 
Mulholland. The remains were taken to Norfolk and interred in the St. Mary's 
Catholic Cemetery.
