NORFOLK - Leon ``Pooky'' Conyers died April 22, 2002, in Norfolk. Born in
Virginia, he was a graduate of Maury High School, Class of 1980. He was
predeceased by his parents, Rosa Conyers and Samuel E. Conyers.

Survivors include three sisters, Sharon Denise Langley of Norfolk, Peggy Ann
Allen of Chesterfield, Va., Darlene Peace of Norfolk; four brothers, Samuel
Conyers of Washington, D.C., Ronnie Conyers, Steven Conyers and Donald Conyers,
all of Norfolk; and uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and a host of cousins and
friends.

A funeral will be conducted at noon Monday in Hale Funeral Home by the Rev.
Larry Cherry. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . A wake will be held from 7 to
8 p.m. Sunday. The family will assemble at 364 ``C'' Ave.
