Coogan, was held from St. Mary’s Catholic church, at 10 o’clock yesterday. Requiem mass was celebrated by Rev. Father John Doherty, pastor of the church. At the conclusion of the service, Mrs. James Hughes sang "Lead Kindly Light.” There was a wealth of beautiful floral tributes, among them a handsome wreath from the Norfolk and Portsmouth Traction Company, with which the husband of the deceased is connected, also a magnificent cross six feet in height from the employees of the railway department of the Traction Company. The remains were laid to rest in St. Mary’s cemetery. Following were the pall-bearers: John H. Lesner, J. W. O'Connor, A. C. Cromwell, Maurice G. Long, Charles Hill, Cornelius S. Clark, J. D. Flynn, W. H. Jones and E. B. Wicker.
